The LR Dance School offers a wide range of classes from age 4 to adult. The School is bursting with energy, enthusiasm and an eclectic mix of dance styles. The LR Dance School is buzzing with a real sense of achievement and with a fantastically loyal, and rapidly growing following in Colchester and the surrounding areas. The LR Dance School (LRD) was set up in 2003 by Principal Laura Rampton F.I.S.T.D. The School offers classes in various styles including Freestyle, Rock'n'Roll, Street and Lyrical at various locations in and around Colchester. There is also opportunites for extended, additional training for competition work (ISTD & ADFP) as well as offering ISTD dance examinations.

The School has different classes available to a wide range of ages and classes are appropriately tailored and well structured to meet the demands and capabilities of each age group. 

The LR Dance School has achieved amazing success and recognition since 2003 in local, regional and national competitions. The School is incredibly proud of its 100% pass rate with the ISTD examination body which includes many pupils obtaining the prestigious 100% full marks in previous years. 

The success and achievements within LR Dance have been due to the superb efforts and hard work of pupils, the tremendous support of their parents and the commitment and loyalty shown by all within the LR Dance School family.

We pride ourselves on having a caring, warm and supportive atmosphere for pupils to prosper within. All pupils are given the opportunity to succeed with guidance and encouragement to be the best they possibly can be through continued training.
